Avoid foods packed in plastic if possible. Focus on whole foods and not packaged foods. Always store your food in glass or high grade stainless steel containers. The average person living in the US consumes approximately one credit card worth of microplastics each week. Microplastics can be found in processed food, seafood, and some grown foods. Your storage containers, especially baby bottles, and utensils must be glass or stainless steel to avoid toxins and microplastics.
Avoid all Processed and Fried Foods: these foods can cause the worst health issues.
Sugary drinks & Starchy Foods:
These food items are very bad for your gut health and can cause leaky gut. Leaky gut is the beginning cause of many health issues.
Vegetables:
Not all vegetables are created equal. Most vegetables contain lectins. Lectins are the plant's defense mechanism. Lectins are proteins that can make people and animals feel ill or can cause death depending upon the plant. Lectins can cause dietary/health issues and/or inflammation throughout the body. This list shows the vegetables that could be causing you health issues.
Nuts and Seeds:
Some nuts and seeds are great for you and others can cause health issues. Everyone's body is different.
Fruits:
Some of these items people may call vegetables. Fruit contains seeds as vegetables do not. Most people think that the sugar or (fructose) in fruit because it's natural does not affect you in the same way. Myself and others believe differently. If you are trying to lose weight, do not eat fruit. Fruit is designed to make you hold and store fat. Some fruits like tomatoes contain most of their lectins in the seeds and skin. This is why most Italians remove the skin and seeds before making their gravy.
Dairy:
Most dairy products are loaded with lectins and hormones. This is why so many people have issues consuming dairy products.
Grains and Grasses:
Oils:
Seed oils can cause major inflammatory issues throughout the body. They were actually never created for human consumption, but for lubricating industrial machinery. These oils are now in almost all processed foods.
